Game Night ~ Contest Entry

My entry for 's OC drawing competition, featuring (from left to right) Synder, Greeny Rider, Platinum Chalice, Hope, Coal Bitterheart and North Light.

Greeny and Coal have been invited around to spend the evening with Platinum and her friends... a decision she may regret after Greeny masterfully schools her at all her favourite games! But while Synder and little Hope might be enjoying the show, it seems Coal's insistence on playing her guitar is interrupting North Light's reading time... this could get a little heated!

This picture was a real challenge! Drawing to a deadline was tough (given my work schedule) and I really had to devote every waking second of this week to completing it. But I'm so glad I did! I really like how this picture turned out. I would have liked to spend a little more time on the background and make it really impressive, but between the looming deadline and my own personal exhaustion, I'll get over it
This picture allowed me to throw in a few fun little details, such as the Super Neightendo (modeled directly off my old SNES), as well as a bunch of game boxes on the shelves. I did want to edit all of them and make some terrible, terrible puns (Megamare X, anyone?), but time is ticking away so fast... I also threw in the first book of Fallout Equestria, to pay homage to the fact that all of my OCs were designed originally for my own FoE fanfic
